Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who is leaving a mark on the tiny screen. De La Garza is a gorgeous actress, born 1977 in Columbus Ohio to a Mexican American dad and an Irish American mom. She moved to Texas in order to pursue a career as a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for long and soon moved to Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of parts as an actor, such as local independent commercials and films. She quickly found her passion to perform, despite tiny parts. After that, she relocated into New York in 2001 and landed her very first job in acting on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. Through the early part of 2000 she appeared in tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first major series role on the short-lived show The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside a number of top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Then, she appeared in The Law & Order: LA brief-lived sequel. The character of De La Garza received numerous nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she won an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding Performances for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character on CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko, the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. The most recent television appearance was in NBC's darker drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is from Italian descent and has a younger brother Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. She was raised by strict and religious parents. Milano was able to begin her acting profession at the age of seven, when her babysitter accompanied her on an audition for acting. With more than 1000 applicants they were selected as one of just four. Milano performed on TV ads and off Broadway shows, including the American first adaptation musical of Jane Eyre.
